They wear make-up because they feel it makes them look better. It makes them more attractive thus helping their chances of being noticed by a guy, being chosen for many things, and with their self esteem. Honestly, my wife in makeup is something I really enjoy. I think she is pretty without it, but I think with it I have a hard time not staring at her beauty.
I'm assuming you are from a religion/belief of a place where women don't wear makeup. If this assumption is true, why don't women in your belief system wear makeup?
Also, why do you wear clothes? Why do you get your hair done? Why do you wrap your hair up? Why do you own a computer?
All of these are things that could go along with your line of questioning. Why ask the question?

It's not just Christian women that wear makeup. There is NOT one thing wrong with wearing makeup if you wear it correctly and don't make yourself look like you are ready to walk the streets. It brings out the natural features of a woman and often times wearing makeup makes a woman feel good.
that has been proven. People have gone to abuse shelters for women and gave them makeovers and gave them a free makeup set and it really made them happy and made them feel good.
If you don't like makeup that's your business.
To answer your question, I like what God has given me and I like to enhance that beauty with a little bit of makeup. There is a difference between hiding and enhancing.

Umm... no... I think that is the ones who get plastic surgery.
There is nothing wrong with make up. And that does not mean that you are unhappy with yourself. I just like makeup. But, I am VERY happy with the body god (or my parents) gave me.

I dont think it matters if you're Christian or hindu, women are women and cosmetics is just a product we wear to beautify ourselves. Does it really matter what religion you have to be to wear make up?
I guess we should ask you why do men like you come on the internet to make a fool out of yourself? Is that a "Christian" thing for you to do?

Why wouldnt they ? About 95% of woman IN THE WORLD where make-up regardless of religion. MAKEUP WAS AROUND BEFORE CHRISTIANITY. It makes them look better as welll. I see People of all religions where make-up and it has nothing to do with religion but feminiity. It is women in general. Maybe the country you live in doesnt except make-up, dont categorize them by religion.
What else are you gunna attack hair styles and nail polish?

To enhance the beauty (appropriately) that He created outwardly on me. When used appropriately, it highlights my face. If I wear it to seduce or look totally different than what I am ..then I have a problem. In my opinion, Christian women are more unhappy about how they feel inside rather than their bodies.
I feel complete in Christ and He gives me the freedom to look, feel beautiful in the way I want--(of course, His Spirit helps me to discern how to do that)

First of all we wear make up because we want to and we can!!!Religion is not about wearing make up, it means many things to different people, to me it mean hope and I believe that has nothing to do with make up. Personally I think that everybody is happy that they have a body, but some people aren't happy with the way they and make up is a way to make them feel better. Wouldn't God be glad to see his children happy?
