Joseph was the only son that I know of that was sold as a slave. His brothers were jealous of him so they sold him into slavery. Hope this helps!

joseph was the one sold by his brothers because of jelousy.he was the gifted one from birth.he was the apple of jacobs eye.he knew that his son was special,because he had receive the word from god the father.he was the gift to jacob from our father god.we are all special before Gods eyes but there those who come to serve God from birth as joseph was ,we was consacrated from the womb.all his suffering confirmed that he was special,he was persecuted by his own brothers,he later was the one who save them in their desperate need.he was filled with wisdom a gift from God something all the others lack.they where filled with envy.Gods chosen will always be protected by him and his holy spirit.what belongs to GOD will always be protected by his army.God had gift of leadership for him in egypt.that's the way does his work.
