Buried. However, The Lord Jesus Christ will not have any trouble finding my dust or ashes when He returns to call me up to meet Him in the air. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

My children know that I wish to be cremated. There is no need for my body when I pass over. The Resurrection, if you believe will not be of the physical body but only the soul anyway. It is ecologically smart not to put people in the ground. It is a much less expensive way to bury? remains. Many reasons.

Now that I'm "middle-aged", I would say cremated. In my opinion being buried is a thing of the past. With the ever-growing population, how can we keep using land to bury our loved ones?

Despite being prefectly well aware that it won't make a bit of difference once I'd dead, I would prefer to be cremated. The thought of being put into a box, however ornate, and buried in the ground is something I just can't deal with.

buried. it's much better for the ecology. after being buried, bacteria and fungi turn the organic materials of the body into unorganic materials, which are used by the plants to creat new organic materials that are used by the plants, animals and all the other organisms on earth to continue the life cycle.
being burned uses oxygen, which is needed for the life cycle, and makes carbon dioxide which increases the greenhouse effect which is harmful to the ecology. so, I hope to help the world when i'm alive, but this way i'l also help the world after I die.
also, it's against my religion to be cremated - it's only allowed to be buried. from dust you came and to dust you'll go.

have a gr8 life!!

I would much rather be cremated. Once you are dead, your body is an empty vessel... a decomposing mass of organic substance. Why fill the earth with big boxes of rotting matter? My soul will be long gone from this earth and I believe cremation is the easiest and sanest way to handle a dead body!

buried. because i like to watch fire but I don't like heat I would rather freeze. That would be cool. I want to be frozen so when they find a cure for whatever I died from then they could bring my back to life. SO in total I don't want to be buried because there are too many bugs on the ground and I don't want to be cremated because I don't like the heat so I want to be Frozen.

Cremated, because I don't want my survivors to have to spend a bunch of money to buy a casket and a plot in a cemetery.

On a related note, this poem expresses my view of death:

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Cremated. My family members would probally take the loss a lot easier than my actual body lying there, lifeless. I would want my family to remember the good times, the person when they were alive and happy.

Cremated. There would be less expense for my family and I'm certainly not going to need my body.
