I have a Clarion cd player in a 98 Jeep wrangler and i cant figure out how to pull it out.

look for a website called instal dr. you may have to search it but it has almost every make and model with detail instructions. Must have Adobe PDF software. If you dont have it download it for free

i also have a Clarion car stereo. when i got it brand new, with it are two flat metal tools that you slide on the sides of the stereo to unlock, hence like a key. tha two holes at the end of the tools serves as handles where you put your finger and you can pull the stereo out with ease.

there is a tool that comes in the box with the stereo, its a flat metal tool that slides in beside the stereo and releases the locking mechanism. If you dont have it you might get one at a stereo shop.

Leave it unlocked on the side of the road and someone will come up when you least expect it and steal it for you.
