Yes. Sepsis is a general term referring to a bacterial infection. Due to widespread overuse of antibiotics, sepsis is becoming more and more common, as more people acquire infection from bacteria that are resistant to some antibiotics. However, most people are able to recover from these infections, and there are some very powerful new antibiotics in use, which are usually given intravenously, that can cure sepsis.

Yes they can but it all depends how physically strong their body is. I work in a hospital and I see patients recover from sepsis. For some it takes a longer time than others but they do recover.

Yes my bf who has since passed (nothing to do with the sepsis) got over it and he had it really bad was on life support for a month....good luck

Yes, takes intensive, and sometimes long term antibiotic therapy, and depending on the severity of the case, inpatient treatment may be needed.

It is a poison in your Blood system, & you can get it out,through a Hospital, but it can cause Health Problems down the road, later., and is very deadly. I almost lost my Daughter to it, from a Bad Root Canal Job, done on her, she almost Died on me 8, different times.!!!!!!

Definitely yes, usually the person has to stay in the hospital and take intravenous antibiotics.
