It would never happen since I would and do make certain that no other animal can get inside. This is why there are such things as fences. But just to say it were to happen , well if the mutt was humping my dobie there wouldn't be much I could do other than start right away to find homes for the puppies. Now if the mutt was humping my cat I wouldn't have to worry about puppies or kitties now would I and if my cat were to have babies from a mutt I guess i would be rich then for having a cat who gave birth to half cat half mutt babies since a mutt is a dog. It all comes down to being a responsible pet owner be it a pure bred or a mixed breed , its the owners responsibility to have their animal fixed or take care there are no accidents. There are to many unwanted little critters as there is.

Some of the nicest people I know aren't "thoroughbreds," and I find that it stands true for animals as well. However, if you spay your dog, you won't ever have to worry about it again.

Oh goodie...nobody has yet pointed out that "THROUGHBRED" is the name of a particular HORSE BREED!!!

If you mean "purebred"...well,spay now...get the mis-mate shot(which REALLY screws up the *****),allow the pregnancy to continue & bucket the results....*YOUR* choice.

It shouldn't be an issue since the cat is spayed/neutered and its kept inside, right?
