I'm a blonde right now but I want to change. But anytime I dye my hair it turns red. What color should I choose and what brand.

Well i work in a hair shop so i will tell you the truth.... if your hair is turning red then dont use box colors from the store go to a shop and get it done ya it might be a lil more money but you WILL get the color you want and you will be happy with it or you will get your money back....hope it works out

First, I would need to see a pic of you to tell you. But if you are younger than 30 and are not going grey I would definitely recommend staying natural. Once you go grey you will have all the time in the world to dye your hair all the colors you want. Your natural color only stays with you for a limited amount of time...so embrace it, and enjoy. It is totally you and no one else will ever be able to match your individual color! Also, go with flattering highlights if you want a little change.

Use a Tone of coloring that is Ash or Cool. It Will take the red out. Plus there is a additive on the market to help tone down the red. Go to a Beauty Supply store they should have it.

unless you want red hair, which you apparently don't, go to a pro (not the place in wal mart) and 1) get her opinion of what would be best with your coloring and 2) let HER do it - don't try to do it yourself till you really know what you're doing. good luck!

Leave it alone and see a stylist that can give you some good styling tips without adding color or chemicals... you'll be happier in the long run!

Why not be a redhead. If I was white I would definitely be a redhead! I would get it professionally done though, just to make sure that it turns out perfectly!

I would choos L'oreal Paris, c'est le best. And i'd try light brown, brunettes are cool too, and get lik pink highlights, or red. Blue's awesome too. But i'd serious go for pink.

Personally I think a girl should go natural. It usually looks better anyway, just be yourself and be happy with that! You probably look fine anyway.
