No, cancers are cells that are malformed and spread. Aids is a virus that attacks the immune system.
What your probably thinking of is Karposi Sarcoma, which is a cancer that many people with full-blown Aids get. It happens later in the disease and appears as brown spots.

No Hiv is a Virus which attacks the immune system. However because of this if HIV/AIDS makes a person more supceptable to opportunist diseases/virus' etc...this includes cancer. But generally the two are not connected.
It is natural to be paranoid abot these sorts of things. I believe everyone should have a HIV test just so they know their status. I doubt you have either of these but the only way you will put you're mind at ease is to get checked out. it might do you some good to raise your awareness of Hiv and cancer by doing some research.

Disclaimer: I am not a medical doctor. But I have had close knowledge of HIV and AIDS in my life. Technically, HIV is a virus and thus not a cancer, but it is incorrect to say that it has no connection with cancer. A person infected with HIV usually has a drastically reduced immune system and that can "invite" many forms of cancer to attack the patient's body. Kaposi's sarcoma ("KS") is a commonly seen cancer in AIDS patients, as are several other cancers.
Folks, if you are serious, don't rely on this forum for critical medical or legal answers!

you're able to think of. yet right here is the subject. The HIV virus has an exceedingly low infectious load. as low as a million virus particle. So an attenuated (killed) virus vaccine with even one stay virus in it may reason an infection, no longer immunity, despite if it did in theory, artwork. Which it would not. For some reason B cells do no longer seem to kind antibodies for the HIV virus. And maximum cancers, being no longer an endemic or a micro organism, yet extremely a results of the breakdown of DNA, commonly via ecosystem, can never be vaccinated against. some issues that reason maximum cancers, like HPV could be vaccinated against, (we've that one, now, Whoo!) yet maximum cancers itself is commonly eradicated via your guy or woman immune equipment's organic killer cells. we don't understand why that commonly fails. this is like asserting considering the fact that we've autos, we ought to continually be waiting to lead them to fly. HIV and maximum cancers are in an entire different league than Polio. Oh, and tuberculosis (TB) and variola (rooster Pox) are nonetheless around. They have not been wiped out like Polio. different stuff like typhoid, cholera, and leprosy are nonetheless energetic in many areas of the international. basically no longer in developed countries. So, the controversy of the question is, if we will not do away with cholera, which calls for in basic terms sparkling ingesting water to be eradicated from a inhabitants, what makes us think of a treatment for AIDS is previous due?

HIV is an immune supressing virus - not a cancer although it often leads to Kaposi Syndrome which is a form of cancer. When the viral lode reaches a high level and other things occur because of that one is said to have AIDS but they are just 2 stages of the same thing. We're still learning about this terrible disease but that's the best current explanation.

HIV” stands for “human immunodeficiency virus,” so adding the word “virus” to the acronym creates a redundancy. “HIV” is the name of the organism that is the cause of AIDS, not a name for the disease itself. A person may be HIV-positive (a test shows the person to be infected with the virus) without having yet developed AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). HIV is the cause, AIDS the result.
Cancer is a class of diseases or disorders characterized by uncontrolled division of cells and the ability of these cells to invade other tissues, either by direct growth into adjacent tissue through invasion or by implantation into distant sites by metastasis. Metastasis is defined as the stage in which cancer cells are transported through the bloodstream or lymphatic system. Cancer may affect people at all ages, but risk tends to increase with age. It is one of the leading causes of death in developed countries.
there is a big difference ....you cant catch cancer through sex....hiv or aids you can..and hiv aids is not a type of cancer...

Both cancer and HIV/AIDS are diseases that not having good information can hurt you. You should read the material that is available on the web about both diseases. The are not in any was related, one is an infection that attacks the immune system. The other is one of he bodies own cells growing out of control. But the information on how disease is spread and how cancer can be detected early is knowledge that everyone should have. It is not paranoid to educate yourself about your health.

Cancer is a mutation of the cells that starts a cell multiplying a lot without turning into useful tissue. This growth is called a tumor. HIV is a virus that attacks your white blood cells and leaves you defenseless against infection. The two are quite different.

Cancer is a non-infectious disorder that can affect any cells in the body, causing them to form tumours, and is probably caused by a combination of genetics and lifestyle habits such as diet, stress, smoking etc.
HIV/aids is transmitted through body fluids (usually through sex, so it is an STD). It is a virus that destroys T-cells in the blood, so that the body can't fight other other diseases.
The best way to prevent cancer is to eat healthy food, exercise, don't smoke, and don't abuse alcohol or other drugs.
