I had that problem and i used to get so upset about it, I used to cry and everything so tried loads of things people told me and nothing worked until...

When your hair is greasy don't wash it as often as you do (even if it is greasy just let go for a couple of days). Make sure you really scrub your head with shampoo and rinse properly then don't leave your conditioner in for longer than upto a minute. let your dry naturally or if you use a haor dryer dry your ahir using the cold settings, try not to brush your hair too often or run your fingers through it and stuff like that all little things help !!! :) :) xx

Are there any asian supermarkets where you live? They sell a brilliant product called gone for good. It is for asian and afro hair and acts as a daily conditioner, hot oil treatment and a relaxer. It only costs £3.99 a bottle and lasts forever. I have very dry hair and have been using it for two years now. My hair never looks greasy and I find that you dont get a build up of product. It also smells of gorgeous coconut. PS I do not have asian or afro hair

When washing your hair, put some vinegar on it (about a cup). Don't do it more than once a week. It leaves your hair feeling soooo smooth and silky. I hope this helps.

try tresseme heat defence spray, i do and it is excellent. its mainly for use when straightning etc but my hair was always like straw but now i use that and its as soft as silk and not one bit greasy, and you only need to use it once everytime u wash your hair and one spray bottle lasts me roughly 3 weeks and its only about £3:50

towel dry your hair before applying conditioner.

All you have to do is when you go and get your next hair cut ask them.... or just walk in and ask them what u should do.... i work in a salon so i know they wont have a problem with it
