In response to one of the answers we got. I would like to remind everyone that although i do not claim that Israel is a saint in this war (they are far from it), they are the ones who do not PURPOSELY attack innocent civilians.

Let me understand slowly. Hamas is the government elected of Palestine. Right? OK then they are in charge the Hamas legal like. Now Hamas kidnapped a Israeli soldier. (going slow trying to understand) That means they had the OK or if not they (Hamas government) turned a blind eye. Simple to follow so far. Now who the hell is to blame. Only a fu**ing idiot would not understand who is at fault. Remember the people of Palestine voted elected these dummies. Bye Bye Hamas (I HOPE)

If this became a placed as a lot as teach how "undesirable" israel is, you failed. If it is a real question, analyze for your self, it should not be too demanding, there have been a great number of articles about the priority between Hamas and Israel. @ Valencia - because you look to have this kind of excellent conflict of words with what Israel is doing, what would you do? would you attempt to get them to signal a peace treaty even as they're nevertheless capturing rockets into your usa? also the point is that Hamas is HIDING in the city, its unlike they're contained in the open, in actual incontrovertible reality that they are hiding in the back of men, women and little ones. To a lot is centred at Israel's reaction, Hamas began this conflict. @ Richard V - So because maximum persons has a diverse opinion and would not agree including your perspectives the position no longer taking it heavily? i don't think of that there is all people right here who's pleased with each of the boys, women and little ones being killed. i'm from Australia so per chance the media insurance is diverse, notwithstanding the media is conserving how undesirable the conflict is and how Israel they gained't enable the media into Gaza. So clarify to me how my opinion (this is the different to the media) has been inspired by them?? also you commented that Otto and Valencia were the in straight forward words consumer-pleasant ones, blah, blah, - For starters Otto stated he were given his stats fom the information and secondly until eventually your over there atm you won't be able to assert something about the conflict because the position r u getting ur information from?? THE MEDIA.

A great entity ensures its long-term existence by being humble when a less powerful entity tries to make itself look big. When a great being uses its might to remind other beings it is great and powerful (though these beings already know) it invalidates and soils its power through the destruction it sows. What I am saying is that Israel has more options than the Palestinians. They can more easily choose whether or not to turn the other cheek. Palestinians (correctly or not) believe the only thing they can do is fight. If Israel would not retaliate every time, the Palestinian cause would lose its steam. If the Palestinians would non-violently rise up, and walk- en masse- into Israel, the resulting slaughter of unarmed women and children would certainly force Israel to accept peace and a two-nation agreement. Non-violence is the only way this can get done.

Well I think the question is not what to do with the prisoners, but what to do with the terrorists who are still free, scheming to kill us. It is what should have been done to them a long time ago, and should be done in any case to prevent them from kidnapping more people and doing more terrorist attacks. There is no way we can trust them or come to an agreement with them - experience has proved that.
And in the meantime, I pray every day that Gilad Shalit returns safely home, G-d willing, and that all these horrible things stop, and for our quick salvation.

Israel has already stated that the prisoners that have been taken will be tried for inciting terrorist actions. Now I am sure that they would be willing to relent some if their man is released. But Hamas should know that Israel goes totally batfeces over hostages. They should have learned from Dr Amen Da Da

I think that civilized countries do not take revenge on prisoners.

I would expect more attacks in response to the school Palestine bombed, however.

I don't even want to think about that. This sounds like it's going to touch off World War III.
