head and shoulders have some great cooling shampoos that smell good and make your scalp feel really good
and as answered below sometimes washing hair everyday or too often can dry out scalp and make itch and flakes worse. Every other day is recommended unless you have hair that gets oily if you dint but most of the time over washing produces more oil.

maybe your scalp is to dry, so drink plenty of water and eat some Vitamin A . Use Baby shampoo all the others are maybe to strong. If you don't have a dusty job or not sweating a lot you need to wash your hair only every second day. Also have a mayonnaise wash. You smear Mayo ( not miracle whip) in your hair ,leave it on for 1/2 hr and then rinse of with mild baby shampoo. It give you luster and shine and is great for your scalp. You can do this once a week. You will see it is getting better and don't forget to drink water.

Head n Shoulders intensive treatment in the black bottle as well as massage mayo into your scalp twice a month and leave it for about 20 mins. Keep in mind you have to REALLY lather well to get the mayo out and rinse BIG TIME. But the oil from the mayo works very well.

Try Parnevu Tea Tree Oil. It has a pointed tip so you can part your hair and apply it directly to your scalp. Also, where ever you have a really bad dry patch you can spot treat. I can go a whole week without washing my hair and not see one flake.

You have a very dry scalp. You can use Head & Shoulders or you can go to a salon and they will tell you what is good for you to use. The products in the salon are very good and worth the money.
