I don't know. How many Americans are born?

Probably only about 20%, but since America majors in teaching stupid to it's citizens, the amount of dumb people likely reaches over 60%. We can start the count here in Yahoo with the dumb questions that are asked and tally the percentage.

Dumb is a relative term. Each and every person is born with unique talents and abilities. A person may have an exceptionally high I.Q. but may lack common sense due to an arrogant attitude. Where as a so-called dumb person can actually function better in every day situations.

I think everyone on earth is born dumb. Seriously, how much could you know right out of the womb???
Now, after they are born... thats a different story. We live in a country where people tend to value all the wrong things. Where people put more importance on material things than morals.

Well you cant just say a number of them are dumb. It happen when a mother or father smoke, take drugs, or it can run in the family. Somethimes the baby can become dumb from a bad hit on the head.

dumb question.... define dumb.... if dumb = less intelligent and intelligent = knowledge acquired then we were all dumb when we were born....the whole world of living creature were dumb. the older you're the better chance for you to be wise.... the more you see the better chance for you to be wise.... the more you feel the better chance you can be wise...... how much have you feel, seen, and how much time have you spent acquiring knowledge that could contribute to humanity?
and for those like to criticize our elected officials... get off your high horses and proof you can do better.... judge ourselves before others.

Everyone! Now of course babies have NATURAL instincts, but that is it. Everything else has to be learned, so in that sense, everyone is technically born dumb!

I think they are not born..they are made...lots of americans refuse to learn and never go out of their way to search for new knowledge even if they have the potential...most are not diligent they want "spoon-feeding" . I feel sorry for them
