We are supposed to love God more than each other. I feel like I have found my diamond this time BECAUSE he loves God first and foremost. It makes him a better boyfriend and father.

My husband and I are very honest about the fact that we love God more than each other. If your faith is pure, this is not an issue.

You can love God more than your wife or girlfriend. But that does not mean that you love your wife or girlfriend less than you did before.
Think of it this way. Your parents did it. They loved each other more than their parents, but I guarantee that they don't love their parents any less than they did before.
So I don't see it as a problem.
