My best friend who happens to be black likes this Russian girl who migrated to the states a couple of years ago. He is afraid to ask her out due his preconceived ideas about Russians being racist and all that Jazz. She attends the same school he attends. What should I tell him? I am not that great with women, so I don't know what to tell him.

Funny thing about people being racist , it seems to fly out the window when opposite sexes are alone under the right circumstances. A lot of slave owners were more then liking racist but that didn't stop the male slave owners a least, from having sex with the female slaves. Kinda funny how that all worked ( can you say Thomas Jefferson ) .

I know a lot of Russian women who although wouldn't go public with it still fiend for Black guys. Your Black friend shouldn't be so concerned his mother might not be to keen on him dating a Russian white girl.

He needs to make eye contact and talk with the girl . U know the basics but the racial thing definitely isn't a factor if she is really craving his piece. She'll assist in the hook up.

The issue is NOT RACE. The issue is culture, values, morals, and all the things we value in ourselves that have nothing to do with color.

If your friend is ghetto/hip-hop/street thug trash and the girl is from a hardworking, education valuing Orthodox Christian family, she will not want to have anything to do with him.

If your friend is from a solid TWO PARENT home that values education, middle class values and is also from a Christian home, then she might be interested.

It's culture, not color that's at issue here!

Tell your friend to take a chance and ask the girl out. The worse thing she can do is say no. If she is racist it will help cool his affection for her.

Tell your friend to basically talk to her and get to know her better. By the way she reacts and the way she treats him, he would be able to tell what type of person she is. Have your friend strike up a friendship. If she is truly interested in him, he would be able to tell.

Keep your mouth shut and don't get involved. It is his life. If he likes her he'll find out a way to tell her.

if she is racist he will see it, you never know until you try, don't right her off because of a preconceived notion of his own...thats discrimination in itself isn't it?

Do it, it does matter what color your skin is! Martin Luther King Junior didn't die for nothin'! If he truely has feelings for he, he should ask her out.
