I've been really good friends with this guy for a year and he's fancied me since we met.. today i went out with him and i think it was supposed to be a date as he paid for my food and now i feel terrible!
He's the nicest guy i've ever met but i don't think i fancy him. Should i just go out with him and hope that he grows on me?

No.....I don't think that would work.....I mean, the acid test is, how would you feel about having serious sex with him?

My advice is.......wait a while (at least a week) Then invite him out and pay for him.

Say: "This is so great. It is brilliant being able to prove that a man and woman can be such god platonic friends, isn't it?!

If that doesn't work say "You are like a BROTHER to me......."

Good luck x

No. Don't go down that road. Make it clear to him that you can only be his friend. In the long run you'll both be better off for your honesty.
He's very lucky to have a friend like you who cares that much about his feelings, but you must think of yourself here too.

No, once you cross that line, there is no going back. Think about it carefully, because if it doesnt work out, you have not only lost your boyfriend, but your best mate too

You need to talk to him and let him know you are just interested as a friend. Don't be shy... if you lead him on you're just going to hurt him.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! i tried that. and i just broke up with him. and i think hes a terrible person. i got NOTHING out of the relationship and nothing was free will. everything was obligation. for the sake of ur sanity, just tell him u dont like him. or u'll end up wasting ur first relationship like me. :sigh:

You say you think it was a date, so you cannot be sure . Maybe he just wanted to treat you?
