Yay! Thanks guys, I did it! they turned out VERY thick but I like them! I was shaky the whole time though! Glad it's over with, I just hope my mom likes them ( she knows I did it). But she probably won't...oh well, it's my hair. Anyways, thanks everyone!

It actually depends on what kind of bangs you want. If you want sidebangs it`s actually really easy. Hold them out and take a scissor and cut off little bits at a time. If you cut off a little at a time and look at the results in the mirror afterwards everytime you cut off a little bit you MIGHT get it to work. That`s what I do, and mine are acceptable.

Experience makes perfect. You can`t get this question answered. I mean, are you going to try and cut your bangs while reading the answers? It doesn`t work. Trust your guts and cut it. And salons make mistakes too. If you make a mistake at least you wouldn`t have wasted any money on it. Blame it on a salon while you`re at it.

Use very sharp scissors, preferably proper hairdressing ones. Pin away the rest of the hair, and lift small sections to cut. Take a little off at a time. One problem for the self-trimmer is getting hair in the eyes!

Try this - separate your bangs by your scalp into 1/2 inch sections and twist them in your fingers to hold them in place (I've found that twisting them kinda helps that "just cut" look, too). Then while watching in the mirror snip them at the length you want them to be at.

take a pair of sizzors, then put your thumb and index fingers into the holes comforbaly. now hears the tricky part, move them close to each other then apart and the blades will do a slicing motion. put the desired amont of hair in the middle of the slicing and slice. pick up hair from ground

Very carefully. Wet them and trim with very sharp scissors. Leave them longer than you want them by almost a half inch, because your hair will shrink as it dries. I hope your hair turns out nice!

Get your hair wet, hold it out in front of you, and cut it...but cut small amounts at a time so as to not cut off too much.

My bangs came out the best when I held them in the air and cut them.

wet them first, small sections at a time, remember that when they dry they will be shorter, take a comb and comb onto forehead and take 1/4 off to start
