Despite what many of us were incorrectly taught back in grade school, eye color is not controlled by a single gene from each parent. (So the responses that try to compare "dominant" genes, etc., are based on outdated science.) Recent genetic research has shown that there are at least three sets of genes that contribute to the eye-color outcome. Therefore, there are no simple answers to your question.

On the other hand, the fact that your eyes are green indicates a strong likelihood of Hungarian, Celtic, or Scandinavian ancestry.

Green is a tricky color in eyes, because I'm not sure if there is a definite allele for green in ur DNA. Often, green eyes are the result of a incomplete dominance from a blue allele messing with the brown one, becasue baby's with blue eyes sometime have their eyes turn green or darken to brown with time.

Do you get your milk delivered by a milkman?

Just joking. It's down to genetics, someone else in your family probably has or had green eyes, like a great-grandfather or something like that.
