I say if he gets mad if you even try and bring it up then there is a possibility that he is because if he wasn't then he should just be able to answer the question without getting mad. But if he has answered the question for you before and you still are continuing to ask him then he may get mad and that shows that you don't trust him. So it really depends on the situation.
