Origin of the Word "Europe"

Western Civilization is the product of Western Man, however, Western history has within it, some major influences produced by alien cultures that have changed the course of Western history. It is essential that Western Man identify himself historically, apart from those alien influences, if he is to preserve the future of the Western Culture. The title "Western Man" is, in the truest sense, interchangeable with the title "European." Why is "Western Man" called "Western Man" and why is that name interchangeable with "European?" If Western Man is to identify himself, he must first identify the origin of his own name: "European."

This search for the definition and origin of the word "Europe" will take you from the dictionary to the encyclopedia, to Greek mythology, and then to an ancient Assyrian monument. This search for the origin of the word "Europe" is inimically connected to the people of Europe. The dictionary simply defines Europe as a continent between Asia and the Atlantic, information that hardly satisfies our etymological needs. The encyclopedia simply provides a geopolitical breakdown of the continent without a clue as to the origin of its name. The name has been shrouded in mystery and archeology.

The ancient application of the word "Europe" has actually changed little, if at all, compared to how it is perceived in America today. What implication comes to mind with the modern term "European-American," or for that matter, African-American or Asian American? There is an automatic racial connotation that was already in your mind. This political aspect of our word-study reveals a facet of historical knowledge called racial history, a history that is presently avoided, omitted, or denied by the mainstream educational media. Truth should never be sacrificed for the sake of political correctness because all too often, political correctness has its own self-serving social agenda.

The earliest mention of the word "Europe" as being a land mass is in Homer's poem Hymn to Apollo. However, it was not described as the continent that we now call Europe; it only referred to certain islands in the Aegean Sea. Homer's time frame for using this word "Europe" as a land area was around the eighth century B.C. Homer chose the name "Europe" from the Greek myth concerning "Europa." Europa is the Greek pronunciation of Europe. The Europa myth is a story, a personification, which partly reveals the origin of the Europeans. It becomes impossible to separate the origin of the word "Europe" from the origin of the "Europeans." Myths are in no way to be considered as religious truths, however certain myths contain historical perspectives as viewed by the intelligent, albeit spiritually void, writers of that age.

The myth of Europa is a story of the origin of the Greek civilization. It is the story of a racial and cultural migration wrapped within the usual trappings of Babylonian and Egyptian "goddess" worship. In the myth, Europa is the daughter of the King of Phoenicia. She is presented as a racial type, referred to as the "yellow-haired Europa." This racial description of Europa, also applies to other mythological figures such as Diana, Dione, Venus and the blue-eyed Minerva. It is no coincidence that the woman called Europa is of the same racial type associated with the people called "Europeans." It is the myth of Europa that explains the early migrations of that race called "European."

The Europa myth places the god Zeus, on the Island of Crete, which approximates Homer's Aegean Sea location of Europe. The Europa myth predates Homers works. Zeus journeys from Crete, east across the Mediterranean to the Asian-African mainland nation of Phoenicia, where he sees the beautiful Europa. In the myth, the blond haired Phoenician Princess had been troubled with a dream. The dream was of two continents, both of which tried to possess her; Asia saying that she had given her birth and therefore owned her, while the other continent was yet unnamed (and virtually uninhabited). This dream represents the European's choice of migration, from Asia-Africa to Europe. Zeus, appearing as a "white" bull, acts so docile that Europa attempts to ride him, at which time Zeus carries her off to Crete, where she would bear "glorious sons whose scepters shall hold sway over all men on Earth." Her first son was Minos, who became the legendary king of Europe's first civilization: Crete.

The archaeological evidence of Sir Author Evans in 1900, and the findings of Spyridon Marinatos in 1932 confirmed the existence of an advanced civilization that existed around 1500 B.C. on the Island of Crete, which later vanished, almost completely. The archaeologists called this civilization "Minos" after the legendary King Minos, son of Europa. The mythical age of Greece and Crete is contemporaneous with the Golden age of Phoenicia and Israel and by the time Greece reached its Golden age, Phoenicia and Israel were no longer world powers. The migration of the Blond haired, blue-eyed eastern Mediterranean people, took them to Western Greece, and those who stayed behind, in Africa, became the brown races that we now associate with the Mid-east. The rediscovered Minoan civilization reveals two major cultural influences: Egyptian and oriental. The Greeks were first called "Greeks" by the Romans, who called them "Greci" or Orientals, meaning from the "east." The Greeks first called Phoenicians Phoenicians. Phoenicia at this time was the primary launching location of sea vessels for "western" travel.

The fact that the Minoan civilization reveals an Egyptian influence requires addressing the Egyptian question as to the development of Europe. The history of the Egyptians is so extensive that it requires a study all to itself, but it is a suppressed truth that the early Egyptians had a racial kinship with the Phoenicians prior to the Phoenician Golden Age. This fact is an important part of the "Europa" myth because it shows the relevant transfer of Egyptian mythology to Greek mythology, which will shed more light on the Egyptian and Phoenician migrations to Crete.

Roman mythology can be traced back to Greek mythology, which can be traced back to Egyptian and even Babylonian mythology. Starting with the god Chronus, which is the personification of time, the parade of gods begins. It has often been charged by the heathen, that Christianity is just another version of all of the principle ideas found in false religions, and all too often such accusations provide food for the weak or spiritually dead. But the reality is just the opposite; mythmakers plagiarize from the true word of God. Now, back to Chronus, out of whom came Aether (air) and chaos. So the beginning is traced back to chaos, this is the theft of the story of Babylon (babel meaning confusion or chaos). Air and chaos, in Egyptian mythology, become the Gods called Nüt (sky) and Geb (Earth). There is a transmission of Egyptian mythology into Greek mythology revealed in the Egyptian Sky and Earth gods become the Greek gods Uranus (Heaven) and Ge (Earth).

In Egypt, the Sky and Earth gods have a child named Ra. In Greek mythology the Heaven and Earth gods have a child named Rhea. By tracing the mythology of Egypt to where it appears hundreds of years later in Greece, it is indicative of the migrations of those people who were carried the myth. But the mythical story surrounding the Greek goddess Rhea is confirmed by the artifacts of Egyptian migrations discovered in the archaeological findings on Crete. This myth also implies a racial abandonment of Asia-Africa, the continent of Princess Europa's birth.

Chronus, father time, reappears on the scene in Greek mythology as Cronus, the husband of Rhea. They have a son, Zeus. This implies that "in time" and the Egyptian "Ra" became Zeus. Zeus was the Greek continuation of the Egyptian god Ra. Ra was the great god of the Sun, and is pictured wearing a shining solar disk. The meaning of the word "Zeus" is "to shine." And Zeus eventually set his throne in Heaven. Apollo was was another "god of light," another god of the illuminate. In Greek mythology, Rhea had to hide her son Zeus from Cronus because he was devouring his own children, so she carried her baby to the Island of Crete. The implication here is, that for the Egyptian god Ra had to be transferred to Greece to survive. So the now "Greek" goddess Rhea, had to take her son Zeus out of Egypt because time, Cronus, was devouring the children.

"Cronus devouring the children" in the racially mixed land of Egypt, represents the effect that "in time miscegenation was consuming what archaeologists now call the "Old Race," of Egypt (White). This is also reflected in Greek Mythology when it says that the gods were losing their "divinity" and becoming faint and weak because they were "blending" with the mortals. So, to preserve the "race," the Egyptians, in an ancient Western White flight, relocated to Crete. Whereupon the Egyptians, represented in the god of Zeus, took the golden haired Europa (White Phoenicians), for the survival of the race, and gave birth to the oldest known European civilization, Minos, which is in reality, Cnossus Crete
.
Hesiod, the Greek teacher poet who lived around 750 B.C., wrote a genealogy of the Gods called "Theogony." The "daughters of Zeus" told Hesiod to write: "We can tell many fictitious tales that have the guise of truth, but, when we will, we can utter what is true." Hesiod said that before the Fall of Man, one race lived happily on this Earth. In the days of Cronus, the gods made a Golden Race of men who were themselves as gods, and the Earth was bountiful and gave them an easy life. Then the gods jokingly made a Silver Race of men far inferior to the first. Then Zeus made a Brazen Race with weapons of brass. These races died out and so Zeus made the Heroic Race, which fought at Troy. And then the last and worst was created, the Iron Race, a civilization of corruption.

There are many more examples of early Greek culture told in myths, some of which are easy to see. Zeus had a son, Dionysus who was the god of wine and revelry. In real life, Dionysus was one of the Greek mystery cults by whose secret rites; the devotees were guaranteed salvation in the gnostic tradition. Athena was the goddess of wisdom, which no doubt refers to Athens as the birthplace of modern philosophy. Hermes was the god of commerce while also being the Guide to the Underworld; commerce and the underworld - not much has changed.

Neither Homer's first mention of Europe as a place, nor the mythology of Europa, has answered the question concerning the origin of the word "Europe." But they are essential in establishing a pattern for the use of that word. It is now necessary to leave the world of mythology and go to the place where the blond haired, blue-eyed goddess prototype began: Babylon, Assyria. We must look in the land where Chronus begat chaos, the land of Shinar, home to Shem, the son of Biblical Noah. The word "Assyria" translates as "the land of the sons of Shem." In tracing the origin of the word "Europe" back to Assyria, we have also traced the European people back to the land of the sons of Shem.

There are frequent mentions on Assyrian monuments, which refer to the land of the rising sun, and the land of the setting sun. The Assyrian word used for (the land of) the rising sun, which means east, is Asu, which is the origin of the word Asia. The Assyrian word used for (the land of) the setting sun, which means west, is Erib, which is the origin of the word Europe. Erib means West, Europe means West, European means Western Man, European Civilization literally translates to be Western Civilization. Remember, the Romans who first called the Greeks "Greeks" called them "Graci" which means Orientals. Their word orient means east or rising, as in rising sun. When these Europeans were traveling west, in the mornings they would get "oriented" with the rising sun to their backs.

Erib is the Assyrian word that was carried west with Europeans and so the word was not translated but transliterated. In mythology "Eurus" means the east wind. The word Erib means west but wind directions are called by the direction from which they come, therefore "Eurus" means "to the west" but in weather it means "from the east."

Another transliteration is found in the Bible. The Apostle Paul was facing judgment in Palestine by the Romans; Paul decided to appeal his case to Caesar. And so, Paul, in bondage, was destined for Italy. Paul's trek went from Jerusalem to Phoenicia and then sailed up the coast to Cyprus and Lycia. There, they boarded an Egyptian ship which sailed toward Crete after which "arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon," (Acts 27:14). The Euroclydon is a stormy wind that blows from the east to the West. Paul sailed on to Greece, Italy and Europe to serve the millions of Europeans that migrated before him. Paul's mission was to take the Gospel to the gentiles (the nations) of those migrations, which he did, and that Gospel has traveled with the Europeans ever since, all the way to California.

Europe is synonymous with the West. European means Western man. Europeans are a race of man that historically originated near Assyria and migrated west. Mediterranean mythology only covers the migration of yellow haired Europa from North Asia-Africa to Greece and then to Rome. It stops short of explaining the eventual fate of the yellow haired Europa in Greece and Rome. I asked a Greek-American, born in Greece, about the origin of the word Europe and about the Greeks of the Golden Age. The appearance of this Greek-American was somewhat short in height with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. In his reply, he said that most of today's Greeks are aware that: "the original Greeks were tall with blond hair and blue eyes." He grew up under their statues. Many millions of the White European race stayed behind in the ancient eastern nations. Where are they today; they didn't leave, where are their White descendants? And what happened to the Euro-culture in those nations?

The migrations of the yellow haired Europa to all points west can be explained in several ways. They are an adventurous people. They prefer to abandon governments when those systems get too old. They move on because of moral decay. They prefer freedom to security. Or perhaps it's just several millennia of White Flight. Asia is the land of the east, which makes Japan the furthermost land of the Rising Sun. California and British Columbia are the furthermost lands of the setting sun (Europe). And now as the Europeans of America look out over the Pacific Ocean and see the sun setting on the East, we can't help but wonder "Where to now Western Man?" Historically Western Man has preserved his race-culture by separating to himself, usually in the uncharted West. If Europeans want to avoid their total genocide, as now evident in our ancient nations, and, when all other options fail, we must turn to the historical method of our cultural preservation: Separation.

Western Man no longer has the luxury of setting sail to achieve Cultural Preservation. We now face a struggle to preserve our culture, to Stand, here and now; we cannot run to a land with no government, none exist. This burden of decision falls upon our present generation. Historically speaking, the majority of Europeans have never responded to the call of Cultural Preservation, and neither will the majority save us now. We, the minority must step forward with our best option, to struggle against the whole world if necessary. We must struggle for our cultural survival; that we, the Europeans, have a moral right to exist.

The name Europe is perhaps derived from that of Europa, the daughter of Phoenix in Greek mythology, or possibly from Ereb, a Phoenician word for “sunset.”

yes, Europe and the BULL (ZEUS - for the ancient GREEKS; Jupiter - for the Romans).

The myth that the continent Europe is named after a princess (Euroopè) from Tyre with a wide (euro-) eyed (oopè) face is obvious popular etymology possibly dealing with a Semitic borrowing.

I have brown curly hair and I have Blonde highlights. Possibly you should try lighter blonde, it might look better than brown, dark brown just looks kind of trashy.
