my baby has been to the doctor at least once a week for fevers of unknown origin with lots of testing with no results for 6 weeks. does anyone have answers of what this could be, with spikes up to 104. please help

Depending on how old your child is, it could be simply teething. Some children spike really high fevers when cutting teeth. If the doctors have been doing testing and they don't know, I doubt you are going to have any amatuers on Yahoo that do.

WEll..really this is not the place to be asking for help like this. Keep in mind the majority of the people here are children and a lot of here are not medical professionals.
Personally, I would be taking your baby to another doctor or even to the ER. They just might end up keeping him in the hospital and do other tests .
Really, you should consider another doctor.

probably just teething you must be a first time mom i was the same way. give him motrin and alternate with tylenol if it comes back or stays before the 8 hr limit is up. also you can put the teething gel on his gums and give him a frozen teether ring. If it really bothers you mix some cold water from the foset with rubbing alcohol and use a wash clothe to press it on his body and head.
