Why you know she knows he knows
Its not what others know, think, or say
Its what YOU KNOW that counts
You know who brought her up
Who nursed her,
Gave her everything she needed
Loved her and cared for her
Whats in a name
Its whats in your HEART that is more IMPORTANT here

Why would she do that? A father does not have to be biological. If he raised her then he is her dad. Why does she need papers to prove it? Especially as an adult. There is nothing she can gain from it that she does not already have.

She is an adult... WHY DOES SHE NEED TO BE ADOPTED???

Perhaps you need to see about some sort of legal affadavit that says that this man has been, and will continue to be, to be her legal guardian and next of kin... Something like that... ;)

I suggest you talk you a lawyer about this. My aunt is one, but I do not know her number so I cannot call her. Your country might or might not allow this. You never know! ;-)

But, even if it does not, if she feels like he is a father to her, and that is why this is wanted, she can still consider him a father to her, even refering to him as "dad" if she would like.

He can still place her in his Will, at least I think so (in my country).
