Unfortunately, the bad guy gets the girl in this world. Good guys usually get passed over because our priorites are usually based on Eros love (beauty) rather than Agape love (unconditional). Here's what I see in your dream:
You're considering a relationship, but don't want to be hurt. But, he's mean to you (verbally...? physically...?). Since he camouflages with the crowds, his ill treatment of you probably doesn't "stand out from the crowd." In other words, his ill treatment of you is no more than anyone else's would be. The dream could mean that you are afraid of what people are hiding behind everyone's back. You could be afraid of some evil hiding that you wont see.
Maybe you should pray for peace before you go to bed at night and work on why you are afraid.

Then - while lying in bed think about things that you like: sun, sea, kids playing....
Try to relax - don't think about any other dreams, but only about something nice, that will warm your heart.

You are being taught by God how to recognize the Devil/evil. It is elusive but it's movement can be seen and even predicted. You will probably need theese skills in the near future to warn someone of danger or to identify when someone/ place needs exorcism/smudgiging/anointing

is this a man you know? If you are a person of faith, God could be warning you to keep your guard up. the devil often disguises himself as an angel of light. Men who do harm to others follow suit. I'd not let myself be alone with him if i were you.
