1. Because the British are charming enough?

2. Maybe the plant for (?General Mills?) found they weren't selling as well and discontinued making them (because they're all being eaten "across the pond" in the U.S.)

3. I guess their luck ran out.

You can still get them at Lakeside in the little sweet shop there , but at about £6 a box i dont know if its worth it!!!!
