It normally takes 7- 10 days for implantation to occur (although I've known a person or two to have the signs at 2 weeks). It will take a few days for the production of HcG to start entering your bloodstream (what PT's test for to determine if you're preggo or not). Every day, the amount of HcG doubles (up until you're further in your pregnancy, when it starts dropping), and you can test with some PT's BEFORE you actually miss your menstruation. If you go to some websites (like babyzone.com or babycenter.com... don't remember which one), it will actually tell you how much/how little HcG it will detect by which brandname. And remember... a false negative is possible... a false positive is almost non-existant, unless you're taking CERTAIN hormone meds or other rare medical problems. Check those two websites first and then try googling if you can't find HcG detection in pregnancy test kits. Good Luck!

One to two weeks if its a home pregnancy. You can get blood work at the hospital done for cheap less than a week, though. You are more likely to get a false negative then a false positive. Good luck on that one.
