What is a 'soul', in your opinion?

Your opinion - not that of any holy book or online pundit...

Difficult, difficult, difficult to put in words what is a 'soul' in my opinion, but I want to try. In my opinion:

There is but one soul. It makes one with the body of the Universe, or the Multiverse, and soul, and Law, and Reality, and Past, Present, and Future, and everything else that you can think of, including what does not 'truly' exists, it's all 'soul', the one soul.

Your mind is a tiny eye. Your thoughs are the reactions to what this tiny eye, your mind, has seen, and sees. The universe has billions upon billions of eyes, and all, all are the Collective Eyes, the Collective Minds of the Universe. The One Soul is looking at itself unfold in Randomness, and It likes it.

Soul started at the end of the 1950's with Sam Cooke, Ray Charles and James Brown as the earliest pioneers. Beginning of the 1960's Solomon Burke's created some classics of this genre.

Also Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Percy Sledge and Arthur Alexander can be considered as famous Soul-artists.

In the 70's and 80's the musicstyle died a slow death, with artist like James Brown and even Hall&Oates as their more more modern artists.

Soul is still around, but far less popular than in the 60's and 70's.

To me I am a soul. I know you do not want to here it but here it is anyway. In the bible it Say's in Genesis that we became living soul's and the same for animals they became living soul's. A lot of people disagree with this but how would they know most have not read the bible they only listen to what they are told so how would they really know? Most believe that you HAVE A SOUL. but YOU ARE A SOUL. Those are two different things.

In my opinion, the soul is like the pipeline between our spirit self and our physical self. Spirit knows everything, spirit is all that is, spirit is love, spirit is one, it is our higher self. Our physical self is the body we have in order to exist here in the physical, to have this physical experience, we chose to be born here. We want to make sure that soul is free and clear, not blocked, so we receive the loving all knowing truth from our higher self without defect.

I'm not going to offer any examples, but I can think of quite a few times my soul let me know that the other part of my brain had made a really poor choice.

It's your subconscious. It's your guardian angel, your inner child, your shadow...and goes on after death of the physical body.

Of course, those trying to explain these sort of things long ago had no clue of the levels of consciousness we are aware of now.

i believe your soul is the person you are while you are alive. thats it though when your gone your gone and your soul dies with you. there are good people and bad same as the souls inthem.

soul- to me is defined as my life force that ora that is mine, but conects me to everyone else.
