Why do you want to consolidate credit cards? My guess is that you want to lower your interest rate. This will help, but only slightly.

You can always move your credit card balances to another company. Before you do this, call your currnent credit card companies and ask them for a better deal (interest rate) or you'll move the balance and close the account.

The BEST way to get out of debt is to STOP using credit cards. It may seem hard to imagine life without a credit card, but that's the way people lived 20+ years ago (because credit cards didn't exist).

I can help you get out of debt, if that is what your really want to do. Contact me directly as I'm in the process of developing an on-line course to help people get out of debt. I'm looking for some people to test the course and give me feedback. There will be no charge to you.

I hope this helps.
