He went to the pub on the 9th day. It took six days to create the cosmos, the earth, and a man. Then he rested. On the eighth day, he created a woman. Since then, neither God, the cosmos, nor man has been at rest. that's why he went to the pub.

I'd bet the ranch that He has had a lot of second thoughts on that one. I know in my life there were times when I made a mistake almost as bad, and wished I'd gone to a pub beforehand, annnnnnnnnnnnd I did after.
