I a mom of 3 kids no do not take the baby out yet because the baby is a new born and the baby do not need to be expose to germs and pet dander and possibilities of airborne disease you can never be to careful with a newborn the baby have to adapt to to their new surroundings air smell touch etc they are new to everything take your time if you need fresh air let the father watch the baby or some one you can trust and you becareful too 2 days is pretty early for you too you need to wait atleast a week before you go walking you don't want to end back up in the hospital because of a set back and believe me a set back is painful you can start having cramps like you going in labor again so take care of yourself your baby need you and becareful. Some people can do a lot after having a baby but everyones baby is different how they react to new things and everybody's body is different how it heal so know your body how far you can go listen to your body limitations and take care of thet beautiful baby!

Depends on the weather...Is it cold??? If it is too cold you won't wan't to take your baby out. If you absolutely have to go out then bundle her up very well.
If it's hot then you don't want her to get overheated.
Don't worry about vaccines... The Hep B vaccine is given at 1-3 days old and then given again at 2 months along with the other two month shots so shes up to date as far as that goes.
Is she on phototherapy? Jaundiced?
Immune comprimised?

I wouldnt take a chance. why not just wait until all of her vaccinations are complete. 2 days old is too young to be out without shots

Two days old is much to young to be out with so many people. There are just too many germs floating around.

Wait a couple of weeks.

Congratulations on your baby.

Come on, people like to scare new mothers. Sure just keep him/her in the shade, and don't let him/her get to hot. Start slow though go for 20 mins then 30 and so on. He/she may have unknown allergies to stuff like pollen.

i took my son on a walk when he was 3 days old i dont see why it would hurt, u can do what i did and put a very light blanket over the stroller so that pollen and bugs dont get in

Was she supposed to have other vaccines? If not then go for it. Always be cautious but people who keep their children germ free end up hurting them because we need "germs" to build up our immune systems.

You gotta take her out sometime. Now is as good a time as any. Just keep her covered from direct sun and don't stay out too long.
