I kind of have an oval face, am an Indian from Asia. Currently, my hair is in no particular style, just long as hell and annoying to deal with. It's always getting in my face because a year or so ago I had it cut into layers. What would you recommend for a cut?

Try asking a stylist that can take into consideration the climate you live in, the texture of your hair and the effect you're looking for (something easy to take care of, something you need to style every day and so forth). As well as products and styling techniques you currently use or plan on using. All these can effect the way your hair reacts.

Do not recommend to go short but here's what I do, I also have an oval shaped face and I have had long hair as far back as I remember:

I usually get long layers all over and are about 2 inches apart so the layers would show and wont look to close together. I have them give me short layers around my face . I use the hot curlers to style my hair and it does not take me that long. you just have to make sure that your hair is dry after you shower and if you have straight or waivey hair then you do not to blow dry it straight.

I would keep the layers but fringe your bangs that way they frame your face I to have an oval face and that's the hair cut I've like the best for me

Oval faces can pull off almost any look. Consider your lifestyle and look through magazines. A mid length cut would give you the most options, long enough for ponytails and tying back, left down for day to day, up-do's for nights out... Have fun!

IF you want to keep it long you should put it all into on big Braid or Keep it pinned up in a Bun. If you want it to be short you should have cut almost up to the neck and Have a Short Curly hair look. That kind of hairstyle looks good any woman.

I think a nice short hair cut with layers would look nice and it would also feel great for the summer. May be even get some red highlights.

If I were to get a new haircut I would get some side bangs and some layers to give your hair some style. And if you have short hair maybe some extensions. I f you are one of those crazy types Maybe dye it.

I've read in hair magazines that classic bobs w/minimal bangs are the best cuts for oval faces.
