we've gone out a couple times, i talk to her all the time; but it just seems like she wont get close or open up to me.

Jehovah's witnesses aren't allowed to date until they are prepared to start selecting their life partner. And even then, usually they discourage relationships outside of the church. She's probably just afraid to get close to you or open up because of her religion. It's a very very strict one. But, don't give up on being her friend. When she's older, she may decide to leave the church. Until then, friendship is the best you can hope for.

Years ago there was this girl at work who was interested in me, when she "made her move" she kept saying things like "well to understand that, you'd have to understand my religion". I already knew she was Jehovah's, and I wasn't interested in that stuff so I wasn't going to take the bait and ask "What religion is that". Find someone else without the religious baggage, dude.

Don once again shows us the love and compassion that is christianity. LOL he talks about "true" christianity, as if that means anything.
Sad, really sad.
On another note, she is distant because you are not a JW. You either get her out of her particular brand of christian cult, or you join yourself.

As long as your outside the truth, you don't stand a chance according to God's laws. If she remains faithful the best you can hope for is to be friends.

I don't know what you mean by 'open up to you' , but I'm sure she just doesn't want to have the relationship get involved to the point that she might be tempted to do something against her godly principles. :)

first you need to get dressed up really nice and take a friend and carry a briefcase or book and then gom knock on al the doors in her neighborhood till you get to her house

Understand that most people adhere to their religion only as long as it is convenient.
Second, her religion may not be why she won't open up to you. She's just not that into you.
