Guys usually check out a girel before going up to her and talking why? It's stupid I want a guy that can like a girl for her mind before he likes her body.

Because most guys look at a girl and see she is not so cute so they think if the boys see me with her there going to laugh know if she is pretty they think let them laugh at this even if she is as dum as a post and the not so cute one was very smart but there are some men out there who try to get to know people first

Guys check out a girl before talking to them because really, we have no idea how smart you are until we talk to you.
But I'd rather have an intelligent, fun loving girl than a "dumb like a slurpee" hottie.

Some men don't judge women by looks, but most (me included) do. Men are visual creatures, and women are sensual creatures.
That means men fall in love with someone based (at least partially) on what we can see, and women fall in love with someone based on what they feel.
Intellectual stimulation is roughly the same importance for both, though.

Unfortunately if there is not initial physical attraction between you two - he is not going to bother to get to know your character any farther. You have to be realistic - you wouldnt walk up to 300 Lb balding old man and hit on him either would you ??

no i dont i have to dis agree with people who say men think with their ***** cause i have a gf that is so freakin smart(and pretty)i like brainy girls cause the hot ones r usualy not so brigth (besides having sex with a brainy girl thats so dam hot!!!)

because unfortunatley there has to be at least some physical attraction to any relationship. If there is no initial spark most guys don't care to get to know you
