Its been done; a male chihuahua and a neighbours female great dane, she had a litter of the ugliest pups ever. They are not a breed so they don't have a special name; you would call them chihuahua x G.Dane. (x = cross)

i cant imagine it working!! If you had a female Chihuahua and a male Great Dane, ouch!!! And if it was the other way round....would it even touch the sides!!
I dont think i will be rushing out to buy a dog like it...probably look like Stitch out of Disneys Lilo & Stitch movie!!

there is no word in the English language called spelt. spelled is what you mean to say. and that kind of a cross would provide some pups of each at the first couple hundred years of trying then it would produce larger Chihuahua's and smaller Danes.so if you want to kill a lot of dogs go ahead.

One strange dog and a monster for the mother to carry. I don't think this is possible.

an unusual one. I hope the chihuahua was the male....never heard of this cross before. You could give it your own name....
