I hate their little black suits, and their little black bicycles. I hate when they ride through my neighborhood wearing their little black suits, riding their little black bicycles, and peddling those little black books. I wish they would keep their crazy behinds in UTAH.
I believe in freedom of religion, but I don't want to see any door to door salesmen peddling their religion. Please tell your mormon buddies to stay the hell away from my house. I can't be anymore truthful than that.

I'm more so curious about the different beliefs I've only heard about - monogamy v. polygamy, caffeine being a bad thing (it's the little things).

But more so impressed by the fact that the Mormon Church is a source of genealogical information beyond those who are Mormons and the growth of that database.

As a whole, I would prefer not to generalize. The only Mormon's I'm "familiar" with are the Osmonds and the guys who go door to door in my old neighborhood (very ballsy).

As far as I can tell thier religion makes sense. I am not personally one but looked into it a lot recently and actually just came on to ask a Q. about it. I like it from what I can tell. The only thing I don't like is the soda rule. In general they are super friendly and I have never heard one curse. I like that a lot. Okay well thats all I got to say. Except I agree with the above every mormon I've seen has been pretty cute.

This is a quick guide to archived discussions from Recovery from Mormonism related to polygamy and the wives of Joseph Smith. Many Mormons are unaware of Joseph Smith's wives. Mormons innocently believe these women were only sealed to him after his death. They are unaware of his relations with women as young as 14. One of his young wives was Helen Kimball. Be sure to read her article.

Just look at the facts. You may wonder how so many people could be wrong for so long. But that is the hard truth of it. And the really sad part of it is that the mormon religion is not alone in being a false religion teaching false teachings. Joseph Smiths actions do not even make him appear to be a Christian. He could not have been a prophet from Jesus Christ our true one and only Saviour. Be sure to look at the information provided in the sites below. I am an atheist and self appointed, unbiased religion critic.

Mormons are the best a Christian can hope for.

Mormons get two thumbs up from me.

And, if the time comes that heretics are once again burned at the stake, I would far rather Mormons light the kindling than anyone else.

I think that you're maybe 14? of course maybe I just don't advertise my religon, possibly to avoid conflict. Not what the church teaches but oh well. Personally, I grew up LDS, and I've looked around a bit, and it is the one that really makes sense with everything. Of course one can NEVER be 100% sure.

See, this is why I don't advertise it, especially on a place like this, you're only going to get answers like the above, and probably below. Sadly, ppl haven't learned tolerance, or acceptance, or even just apathy would be better than everyone getting all worked up about it.

I think mormons are good and ethical people. I don't share their views regarding the validity of the Book of Mormon or the prophethood of Joseph Smith, but I can't help but respect the values of the mormon people nonetheless.

I think the Mormons are the cleanist living people I know, I respect their family values. However, after studying and digging deep into the LDS faith I left the church as I now realize it's a false doctrine

I think there are great, friendly, intelligent Mormons as much as there are great friendly, intelligent people in any religion, nonreligion, ethnic, cultural, economic or political background.

There are also just as many pretentious, lying, immoral, people of every background.

I have friends and aquaintances of various backgrounds including LDS....from Jewish, to Wiccan to Catholic, black, aboriginal, chinese, doctors to custodians, straight and gay, parents to singles.

It is more important to be the best person you can be with the gifts and talents you have and to realize that you are a person of complexities rather than just a single label.

I think like every single other religion there are good Mormons and Mormons that twist the beliefs of their religion to fit what they choose to do or how they choose to live their life. I think it's human nature.

You should look into the history books to see what they have done in the past, and then watch the Television news about recent illegal activities.
Wonder where those missing gold plates went?
Why was the founder assassinated?
Why do they continue to break God's laws.
Why don't they carry Bibles to prove their beliefs.
And why do the bicycle riders pull wheelies in front of my house when they are headed home to their church?
