No person with the ability to think would fall for that. It is too ridiculous. If we did come from them, then we would all be inbred. I would rather be related to a monkey, than to my girlfriend. If we came from Adam and eve, then the lack of genetic difference would have killed us long ago. If we survived by gods will for us to, then he just kept us around to be motherf***ers, literally. This is just part of it. Why, how could anyone believe this. Figure that out, and you can cure the world of one of its worst diseases (religion).

God created other people before he created Adam & Eve. Read Genesis 1 & 2 carefully. Adam & Eve were special people created for the Garden of Eden, but before he made Adam in Genesis 2, he created "male & female created he them" on the 6th day of creation in Genesis 1. Then later, Cain left Eden & dwelt in the land of Nod which was a city & had people living there.(He did not marry his sister as people would lead us 2 believe) But how we got descended from the Adam was during the great flood when Noah put his family ( and he had a large family) on the Ark. Noah was a direct descendent of Adam & only his family & therefore his line survive the flood.

And why would it be stupid if christians believe that? Do u know the total amount relatives u have that descended from your ancestors who lived in the year 1900? I bet u that from then till now u have thousands of unknown relatives from those 2 people that existed just 100yrs ago. Think now of the relatives from two ancestors from the year 100AD & the amount of their descendents thru time. Now think of ancestors from the year 300BC. Get the point??

Do you not understand that the concept of Adam and Eve are symbols?

They are symbolic of the first people on earth. There were thousands of Adams and Eves and they very likely evolved.

Evolution and creationism are NOT mutually exclusive.

Try expanding your limited awareness a little and realize that there is SO much more than we humans know. There are SO many more possibilities. The world is not black and white.

I think it's easier to believe all people came from Adam and Eve then it is to believe every living thing came from some prehistoric soup.

P.S. I'm also pretty sure Adam and Eve were Asian..... Just cuz there's so many of them around today... makes sense, hey?

I wouldn't say it is stupid because that is saying that what a large part of the population believe is stupid.

That being said, no I don't believe that we all came from Adam and Eve. I find it hard to believe that one supernatural being created all. I am more inclined to believe the scientific explanations because they are more logical to me.

Acts 17:26: “[God] made out of one man every nation of men, to dwell upon the entire surface of the earth.”

“Science now corroborates what most great religions have long been preaching: Human beings of all races are . . . descended from the same first man.”—Heredity in Humans (Philadelphia and New York, 1972), Amram Scheinfeld, p. 238.

“The Bible story of Adam and Eve, father and mother of the whole human race, told centuries ago the same truth that science has shown today: that all the peoples of the earth are a single family and have a common origin.”—The Races of Mankind (New York, 1978), Ruth Benedict and Gene Weltfish, p. 3.

Does the Bible present Adam simply as an allegorical character representing all early mankind?
Jude 14: “The seventh one in line from Adam, Enoch, prophesied.” (Enoch was not the seventh in line from all early mankind.)

Luke 3:23-38: “Jesus himself, when he commenced his work, was about thirty years old, being the . . . son of David . . . son of Abraham . . . son of Adam.” (David and Abraham are well-known historical persons. So is it not reasonable to conclude that Adam was a real person?)

Gen. 5:3: “Adam lived on for a hundred and thirty years. Then he became father to a son in his likeness, in his image, and called his name Seth.” (Seth certainly was not fathered by all early men, nor did all early men father sons at 130 years of age.)

If “the first man Adam” was simply allegorical, what about “the last Adam,” Jesus Christ?
1 Cor. 15:45, 47: “It is even so written: ‘The first man Adam became a living soul.’ The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. The first man is out of the earth and made of dust; the second man is out of heaven.” (Thus denial that Adam was a real person who sinned against God implies doubt as to the identity of Jesus Christ. Such denial leads to rejection of the reason it was necessary for Jesus to give his life for mankind. Rejection of that means repudiation of the Christian faith.)

How did Jesus himself view the Genesis account?

Matt. 19:4, 5: “[Jesus] said: ‘Did you not read [at Genesis 1:27; 2:24] that he who created them [Adam and Eve] from the beginning made them male and female and said, “For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will stick to his wife, and the two will be one flesh”?’” (Since Jesus believed the Genesis account to be factual, should we not believe it too?)

I believe it and you will too in the end.. You may call me stupid if you want, but we will see how many years your beliefs hold up.
You probably believe that you came from an ape or something similar.
