i would ask Him to tell me how it felt like when I accepted Him into my life,
and wish that i had a video screen there of all the times He protected me, and i just did not know !
I would want us to look at all those times i made mistakes, and He forgave me, and kept on knocking untill i finally HEARD Him, and I will want to know why He loves us so much.

When I meet God, famine and destruction, death and suffering will all be GONE. Why ask about it?
I would want to know about the other planets, the other humans who did not "fall" like we did. I want to visit Pluto and find out how many moons it really has, etc.

I have already met God through Jesus Christ, but I know when I see Him face to face - I won't ask Him why my child died tragically, because I trust Him and know that He has the bigger picture, unlike the small picture I am able to see, I will thank Him for all the blessings of my life, for giving me my son in the first place to enjoy 12 wonderful years with him. I will thank him that my son accepted Jesus as his Saviour just days before his accident. I will thank Jesus for all He has done in my life.
