well i saw it in a poem of Wilfred Owen, Anthem For Doomed Youth. I asked to many english and they didnt know this word O.o please help me ^_^ (you can tell me what it means in english as well)

aaaah i know what means horizon, and the others words u wrote, but its the english word ORISONS which i want to know what is... >.< Well thanks for your answers anyway ;)

In archaic English, "orisons" - usually used in the plural - means "prayers". Shakespeare uses it in Hamlet (speaking to Ophelia): "Nymph, in thy orisons Be all my sins remembered."

Forgot to put: in French, it's "Oraison, priere" (f).

Don't you mean "horizons"? That means the same as in English. It's the line dividing the sky from the earth or the sea, in any landscape.

It's older English... the word you are looking for is "horizon" or "l'horizon"

Sorry, it is not in the Larousse French Dictionary...and I had never heard it before, so I don't know where else to look for it.
Perhaps if you wrote the poem???

it dpends wether you mean oraison which is a speech, or horizon which is the landscape. and by the way both are french

it's not French it's Shakespearian and it means horizon...
