You have to give all aspects of your life to the Lord. If there's something you're holding back from Him give it over. You can't live the same way anymore. You live your entire life for God. It'll be hard at times but God is always with you. Never lose faith.

The Lord has changed you but it takes time for Him to change all the things we feel need to change. We are just flesh. It is so easy, even after 30 years, to still sin because we will not be perfect here. One thing I can share with you though and that is the things that were or are my hardest areas, He has changed or started to change from the root of the problem. Just like an onion has layers, so do we. There are things you will learn to let go, forgive and even forget. Then you will see other things change. It has taken years for some of my greatest faults to be stripped away and it was because there was a deep root of bitterness or unforgiveness or even hurt. Let God change you in His timing. If you keep trying to be better then it will be just you doing it. Pray and ask Him to show you what needs to change now and ask Him SPECIFICALLY about the areas that grieve you the most. If you are specific, He seems to make you see the answer in a more clear way. I will pray for you but stay firm, strong in the Lord, stedfast and read His Word daily. You will get the strength you need. Blessings on you.

It's a struggle for everyone no matter how long you've been serving the Lord. I've been on this journey for 27 years now and have realized that all thoses times of struggle are tests from the Lord. You have to remember your experiences with the Lord in your hard times. Remember where and what he has saved you from and His promises to thoses who will honestly seve Him. Surround yourself with people who also know the Lord and get involved in church activities. I hope this helps. And remember that the race is not for the swift but those who endure unitl the end.

You become like what you think about most. Meditating on God's word and being around mature Christians will help you to change your habits and goals more in line with your values.

Remember that Christianity is a process of becoming perfected, or mature. It doesn't happen all at once. Keep moving toward the goal, but don't expect there to be a specific day when you have "arrived."

May God bless you in your walk with Him.

Why is it hard to live right? Lets start with people. Sin is in our lives and that sin, the past history, struggles against what is right, we hold ourselves back from what is right, Satan tricks us and we let him trick us. We just don't care. We want to have friends. To be with God is to be against the World a burden that no ONE man can face. It is hard so we rely on God and not ourselves. The hard times are when we grow the most. It also would not be worth it sometimes if it was easy.

It's hard to live right because most people don't and you are surrounded by sin. That's why church is important because you need to be around people that are striving for the same thing. There are still no excuses...all the decision for your life start and end with you. Living right has it's own positive rewards...just be strong.

Because the holy spirit in us (Jesus living in our hearts) is always against our sinful nature or our human side. Even in the bible Paul says that living right was a struggle for him. It's so hard to be good even when we try! That's why Jesus had to die for our sins because we couldn't ever not sin. It's hard for me to live right also, and for the rest of the world to live right. But in Gods eyes we are righteous when we come to believe in Christ.

All religions are old wives' fables, but an honest man has
nothing to fear, either in this world or the world to come.

It is hard because we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God.
