I don't think that's the case. Women I know have learned how to make themselves happy and whole and are very fulfilled by that.
I realize you are much younger and may not have reached that stage yet, but it's time to recognize that it's up to you to become happy with no help from anyone. Find things in life that please you. Search yourself to find your interests and if you're not sure what they may be, try some different things. That's how we all grow - trial and error.
I think the lonely women are the ones who try to live in the pattern set out for all women in the past. The husband, children and home in the burbs may not be the answer for everyone.
It may complement the happiness but first there must be other purposes as well. Career, education, charities, music or painting...........so much to do that fulfill.
Depending too much on our mate to please us only shows him how needy we are and it's a turn off. Be independent and innovative with your life. And enjoy it!

If you're getting lonelier by the day, you should do something about it. Get out of the house, make new friends. Go to classes or some kind of club of something you're interested in. Meet new people there. Don't get lonelier by the day, change things and become happy again.

Some are selfish. Some like bad boys. Some have no self esteem, self worth, or self confidence in themselves because they were brought up to believe that without learning how to think for themselves first.
Some fake sincereity. Some just want want want and never give back.
In a world filled with many friendships, we have very few genuine ones. Most women who realize this are the ones we want to be with.

I agree with Snorkelman's frankness and Reality Check's sarcasm. With all of that man bashing going on and materialistic tendencies and shallowness being exhibited by a lot of women, isn't it any wonder that men are being driven out of their lives?

Just my opinion, I think everyone including me are getting more and more selfish. When we concentrate on just fulfilling our own needs we fail to make connections with others.
If you want to be important in someones life show how much you have to offer and not how much you need from them.

NOT ALL WOMEN ARE LONELY. YOU HAVE TO GET OUT AND MAKE A LIFE FOR YOURSELF. THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO DON'T JUST SIT THERE AND FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF. THERE ARE PROBABLY OTHER WOMEN FEELING JUST LIKE YOU DO. JUST THINK, IF YOU ALL GOT TOGETHER TO DO THINGS, THEN YOU WOULDN'T BE LONELY ANYMORE.
