The good news is that we do not have to stop polluting entirely, which is good because that would be impossible. Pollution can be thought of as the unnatural accumulation of any byproduct of life or industry.

The key to pollution and environmental health in general is the notion of sustainability. Earth has many natural systems that clean up after both plants and animals and cleans up after humans too. Wetlands for instance can filter out and absorb a certain amount of sewage and other human pollution. Plants can absorb and clean the air of a certain amount of air pollution too.

If we do not overwhelm those systems they will keep the environment health forever. That is what sustainability is all about, living within the means of our planet. Unfortunately we are not respecting those limits today and so pollution is building up in the environment and causing damage to it like ozone depletion and global warming. We need to scale back the amount of pollution so that natural systems can recover.

Since no procedure or operation can be 100% efficient, there will always be pollution. Even worse, humans are not close to efficient. Also don't forget, that what people call pollutants can be released by volcanos, gysers, and yes, from your own body which releases formaldehyde, alcohols, and other organics. Also, don't forget about all the waste products that come from the other end of your body. All animals produce pollution. Do a web search for methane and cows to see one such problem.

We can do alot to reduce pollution. I know some people who live in a very eco-friendly home. They're house is solar powered and insulated with straw. They used recycled products in the construction of their home. They eat food that they grow, which means they don't waste the stuff used in pre-packaged foods. They don't have a car, and bike around instead or use public transport. They are the most environmentally friendly people I know, but they'll still admit that they cannot completely eliminate pollution

i think it is very possible to stop pollution considering the fact that knowledge is power. if pple are well informed, they would have the power to stop the evil they commit against the environment.
U know that a place is polluted if it,s self-sustaining ability is overweighed i.e the ability to cleanse itself is destroyed.
if people can let go of their personal benefits and greed for extraneous comforts, the environment will be a better place for men to live in. so, i beleive it is really possible to stop pollution.

With God and ingenuity we can stop all types of pollution, but scriptually this world is passing away. So even if we stop pollution our trees will still get diseases and won't produce, we still will see massive waves of death of fish, endangered species will still die out, etc. Still, all persons can have everlasting life through the Christ, Jesus.

through extensive recycling much pollution can be removed, but there will always be a change in any environment when you interact with it.
learning to live greener will benefit people and our environment. renewable sources of non-polluting energies are key to allowing us to both enjoy a high standard of living and help keep a pristine place to live our lives.
