Since God controls everything He must want people to suffer. I have seen in the USA, for example, that if some politician wants to help the sick, hungry, or poor or clean up the environment and help people breathe better air they are immediately labeled a "Godless Liberal" and all the Conservative Christians dislike/hate them for being "Godless Liberals" and start saying mean things about them being "Lesbians" "Tree huggers" "Gays" "Environmentalist Scum" "Bleeding Hearts", etc. Therefore if the people that do "Gods work" are against it, and "God controls everything" it must be Gods will that we all suffer. Just remember when you ask "Why do people suffer..?" "Christ is the answer!" (according to the churches "Christ is the answer for everything").

Because there are crazy people in the world who don't care about anyone else, people who weren't raised right and choose to hurt other people to make themselves feel like they aren't alone. It's a shame the world is like this, but it's like wondering why the devil won't give up making people suffer if he's knows he's going to lose the war, but it's just evilness, which consumes people.. Hope my opinion helped, and feel free to contact me...
