Self -sacrifcing emotion and action. Whether sexual or not. Finding joy in serving others in love.
God wired us this way ( look at the sacrifice of Jesus). When we give love ourselves He blesses it and we find love greater than any other way.

There are many different levels of love. Romantic love to me is wanting to give all of me and excepting the man I'm with. It's unconditional. It's wanting to spend every moment with that person yet loving them enough to give them space. It's full of trust. No doubts. It's wanting to get up at 4:00 am to make breakfast for him even though you're dead tired. It's holding hands. It's being able to close your eyes and still feel him even though he is gone. It's everything and more. You just have to be lucky enough to find a person who feels the same about you. That's when the magic really takes off. So many settle before finding that person. I could go on and on....

Love means different things to different people. For me it means putting everyone feelings before mine. It means stepping infront of a car if you know your husband, kids would be the one's to be hit. Love does'nt hurt maybe get disappointed from time to time. I was once told be a friend of mine who was married 20 some odd years that she could put all the love she recieved in one year of happiness. That is not love. You must be able to love yourself if to give love to others.

Being "in love" with someone means that you want to spend every waking minute with them, you will do whatever you can to make or see them happy, if you cannot be with them, or if they are gone a distance away and you cannot see, hold, talk to, kiss or just be with them, you are lonely as can be, and can't wait for the moment they return, and you daydream about your future together. Also, you cannot imagine your future without them in it. I know because I'm there now with an absolutely awesome Lady!!!

The old cliche': love means different things to different folks. But this you can take to the bank:
When you are lucky enuf to find it, you need to think of it as a rare, fine and delicate piece of light catching prismatic and ever glowing crystal that should be cherrished and handled with care forevermore.

there are many types of love but I think you mean between a man and a women that are not related and are intimate.
It means many things including, wanting to be with them, being able to give them love and receiving it too. respecting each other and still playfully bugging each other. There are no extremes and things are done in moderation including moderation.

heartaches, butterflies, someone to rely on, worrying that you'll lose that someone any day, tears, joy, really knowing someone, letting your guard down, fear of getting hurt, experience, fireworks, kissing, physical and emotional attachment, caring more about another's happiness than your own, trust, honesty, sincerity.
It's basically every emotion mixed in and bundled up.

Merging in one way or another. Taking another's life into your own as precious. Caring as much for them as you do for yourself. With true, heartfelt love you experience "Selflessness". Break down that word and think on it.
