You can use *67 and it will show up on a caller id as unknown, but some people have their phones set up not to take unknow callers. I called someone using *67 and got a prerecorded message saying the customer does not accept unknow phone calls.

*69 allows you to get ID of the last caller

*67 blocks your number, however it can still be traced and * 67 only really blocks cell phone numbers cell phone numbers cannot be traced
