i mean faint as in when somebody collapses.

Yes, because if they stop breathing, then it's respiratory and soon to be cardiac arrest, not fainting.

Yes. Most people faint because their breathing has become erratic. Once they have fainted, their breathing will go back to normal which is the whole point of fainting in the first place!

If they have just fainted, then yes, if they has passed out due to a heart attack or another major issue then possibly not.

But if it merely is a case of fainting, then yes, the person would continue to breathe.

Fainted person will continue breathing.If it is not attended to it it may result in death.Fainting is an aindication of serious indication of health and should followed up by visit to doctor and full reasons should be found out.
People in Africa ,Somalia faint due hunger.Tropical countries due to extreme heat people faint some times.

Yes, they still breathe if they fainted. If they collapse from something else like a heart attack or stroke, or something that could kill them, the answer is no.

Dependswhy they fainted. I did at school and i stopped breathing. Cause from an injury. So don't just think they will continue to breath cheak it out.

Yes.
Typically fainting only last for 45 seconds, if it goes longer then it can become VERY serious. I've been there, done that.

Breathing is part of the autonomic system within the body.

If you hold your breath then become unconscious, then the body will automatically start your breathing, unless there was something seriously wrong, i.e. Heart Attack.

a person stops breathing when he dies......
without air most organs will shut down and fail in minutes.
