Just remember, no matter what differences you may have, or how crazy they drive you with all of their rules, THEY LOVE YOU! They seem annoying because they never want to see you get hurt and they will do everything in their power to prevent that possibility from ever arising... even though it will, someday. They still think they can protect you from all the pains of life. Be patient with them and talk to them about your concerns. You are still young and you'll have plenty of time to make decisions for yourself in the future. I hope this was helpful.

I know that at 12 you think your parents are stupid, and in actuality they might be. That's not the point. The point is that no matter how stupid they are, you are not smarter than they.

You have little to no life experience and only 6-7 yrs. of formal education, and now have just enough intelligence to get yourself raped or killed by some scumbag.

Believe this or not! You are the most precious and improtant thing your parents have ever or will ever possess. Possess? Yes! They own you lock, stock and barrel, at least until you grow up and go on your own. Minus Abuse, you have no Constitutional protected rights when it comes to your parent. You have no freedom of speech, or the press (emails, letters, diary or journal), freedom or movement (going where and when you want), no expection of privacy etc.

When you become of age and go on your own, then you can live and do what you want. This will happen and you will, probably, do everything opposite what your parent have taught you for a while. You will then realize your choices are poor and your parents weren't so wrong. Once you have your own child to raise, you will be totally suprised how much you are like your parents.

So, in the meantime, do as your parent direct you, quit bitc*'n they are too strict or just won't let you do as you please.

Learn to be gratefull you have parents that care. Your friends that have parents with the opposite attitudes are not better off. They are the ones that will end up in prison or have a life that doesn't amount to a hill of Manure. A adults they will continue to make the unsound and poor decisions and choices they did as teenagers. They never learned the proper ways from their parents.

Your day will come when you are the most stupid person in the world, according to your 12 yr old.

Remember this important fact when your raising your own young teenager. The definitation of "Reproduction": Gods way of punishing us for breaking his Commandmant to LOVE, HONOR AND OBEY our parents.

The better question is how do parents deal with a twelve year old who thinks she needs to deal with her parents! The bottom line is they are the adults and you are the child. They say and do as they say. This is the problem today; too many kids wanting to deal with their parents and their parents trying to be their buddy instead of a parent. When you are an adult and supporting yourself then you can think about how to deal with your parents.

listen and talk to your parents
they will listen to you if you just talk to them.
it may seem like they are running your life but if they are "good" parents then they just wants what's best for you. but don't let them abuse you in anyway.. there are worse places to live.. be a good kid
so listen and respect your parents even if you think it's "unfair"
go to school and get an education you got 6 more years until you are 18.. have fun with your teen years.. but respect your parents they are the only pair you will get

Depends on what you mean by deal. They are the parents. They are in charge. They are responsible for your wellbeing. If you mean "How do I get my parents to allow me to do whatever I want?", then forgit it. They are the law for you.

You need to help them to understand you and what you are going through. If you yell, this puts a blockage in the conversation. Tell them from your heart how you feel about whatever and also tell them you love them. Total communication.

by listening to them and talking to them, not talking at them. ask yourself this...if you moved out of your house on your own could you survive? if u say no then you nned to stay at home with your parents. They are looking out for your best intrests right now. it may not seem that way but they are. You and your parents may fight but they are trying to do right by you.
