There is certainly NOTHING that compares with the Holy Scriptures, the Bible.

A religious book that relies upon human philosophy is a fraud. However, a book that merely organizes the bible's thoughts into a logical course of study cannot be said to be a fraud.

They are if you believe them to be. The power of the Bible is not in the words, stories, or writings but when, with the revealing of God's Holy Spirit to the minds of His Believers, the true knowledge, meaning, and mysteries of the Bible reveal to the minds of the Believers. To an unbelieving and person that rejects God it truly is just frauds and myths even though historically it is proven true it is the spiritual meanings and teachings that lie in the words where the magic comes in and through. As far as the other mentioned books I, out of respect, will not comment on that which I do not know about. To me however the Bible is a very powerful and essential source of Life's knowledge and instructions to those that believe in and accept God for who He is.

Are you asking because you really want to know, or are you trying to justify your choices and/or actions? To borrow a phrase from one of these "fradulant" books, "by their fruits you shall know them." If you read something and it rings true, if it makes you truly happy, then it is a good thing. Be careful. I have been on both sides and what I thought was true happiness and freedom turned out to be bondage and slavery.

All religious books have truth and light. Some more than others. If you really want to know the truth, open your heart and listen. You will find what you are looking for. Don't settle for most of the answers because all of the answers are there. If you are trying to justify your narrow view of life, I am sorry. I wish you the best.

I am so sorry that you haven't learned about, felt the peace, and live as God intended. I feel bad for you that someone didn't take you to a good church where you could experience the warmth of other true believers. Yes, there are some hippocrites in church trying to look the part but there are hippocrites outside of the church also. Please don't get religion and Christianity confused. Christianity has to do with understanding and accepting Christ and religion is a group of people's adaptation of the Bible and the way they want their group to worship. Your question is a good sign that you may be searching for the truth and I pray that you find it in Christ, my Lord and Saviour!

It is interesting you lump all religious books into on category as being pious frauds and myths. Religions themselves are based on what someone has read, been taught or experienced. The word of "GOD" in any religion are written and based on FAITH in that religion.

To label all religious books as frauds and myths is intellectually small minded.

Due to the basis of FAITH to answer your question truthfully, YOU must research and then meditate on the true truth or valve that you discover in your research. You like thousands of people before have asked this question and the ones that truly want to know the truth have followed this recommendation. Research and meditate until the answer comes to you.

Pretty much so., but when they promote the killing of women and children and innocent bystanders as the Quran does it is a really large problem. Islam is a bunch of loosers and people with low self esteem and they are so frustrated they loose all self control and kill anyone whos doesn't agree with the. Only after death will they know how stupid they really were.

Not all. Books, such as the bible, are like logs or journals written by holy men who wrote things down, pretty much as they happened. The messages given in them are factual accounts of the things that happened and were said at that time.
