I'd like to achieve that Mischa Barton straight but wavy curled hair effect. Does anyone know of any good curling tongs to use and how best to get this effect? My hair is very thick and very long.

the best is a pair of ghd's. i know they're supposed to be for staightening your hair, but if you straighten it with them then wrap your hair around them once its straightned, so you're effectively styling your hair twice, you'll get your look!

the best curling tongues you can possibly get are GHD fuge curlers there quite expensive around £70 - £ 80 but they are the best ever and worth the money
