Many airlines will let you ship them. For example, here's a link to the page on the American Airlines site that explains how it works for them: http://www.aacargo.com/shipping/animals.jhtml

There is also a company called "Pet Air" that takes care of shipping pets for you (they call themselves "Your pet's travel agent." You can visit their site at http://www.flypets.com/ .

Can you please go back into your question and add details?
Where are you located? What is the age of your cat?
Where will she be going? What breed cat is she? How much does she weigh? Is she up to date on all shots? What date do you plan to ship her? What major airline is in your town, (Delta, American, Continental, United)?
All these questions figure into an answer for you.
Once we have these questions we can better answer you

NOTE Well you answered 2 of the 8 questions I asked
Hi, its me again
If the cats are young enough, two can be shipped in the same carrier.
If they are over 6 months they have to be shipped in seperate carriers.
If they are over 10lb (including kennel) it will cost more, at least with Continental. About $200.00 per cat, for the ticket, vet health certificate and airine approved carrier.
They will all have to have a vet health certificate, and be up to date on shots and rabies.
You will need to get that done within 10 days of flight. (A rabies shot is good for a year, if you have the certificate as proof they already had one)
If they are the mashed faced cats different rules apply (problems with breathing)
You will have to call each of the airlines and see which have the quickest flight to San Fran.
You will need to be at the airport about 1 or 2 hours prior to flight (each airline have different requirements)
Be sure you know where the cats will arrive, some airports have a cargo building where the animals are carried when they land......not to the ticket counter, be sure the person picking up the cats have that number and know where the bldg is located, it is not always at the airport.
You can email me, look under my profile.

Call the airline that you are going to use, and ask what the requirements are. They all require that you use an "airline" approved kennel. Also asked what the airline does to guarantee the safety of your pet. Each Airline is different, so it is important you ask each one these specifics.

They need an airline ticket. Call the airline and they can give you all the info you need.
