In some cases (I know I've fallen prey to it) your temper gets the better of you and you post something you regret later. I do agree with you that entirely too much of that happens here. All we can do is try to not contribute to the problem.

Its a genuine question/ feeling. As one answer-er said one can fall prey to the moment of anger and say something which might need a later day edit/delete even. But I guess those remarks are justified if we think that after all this is what people think about beliefs/ others points of view. True they don't have to say things like "oh yes i hate it" or "hmm" but then there will always be a group of people who are there for having fun. May be they are lonely but don't know how to relate to others. May be we have to give them allowance for being lonely. After all Internet have reduced distances but what about the distances of heart? Recently I read a study that individual is more alone than ever before in the age of technology. Internet has rendered hearts more lonely I believe and this is just another expression of that phenomenon. I am sorry to have written more but that is how I feel.

You’re exactly right. Sadly I think a lot of these people are so afraid of the truth they answer in the only way they can, as a smart a--.
Don't let them make you loose hope. There are a lot of serious caring people sharing too. Listen to what they are saying and ignore the little kids. They will grow up to some day.
Jesus asked that we love them, if we do that they are not so hard to put up with. Just remember that they act the way they do because they are afraid. You remember things you have done when you were afraid. Not usually our best moments are they.
Love and blessings

Many people feel the need to be heard or want to share their disregarde for others. Some people are just looking to gain points for this "leveling" stuff (or whatever)
Sadly, some people were never taught to have manners... and although they are rude, you need to take in consideration the fact that they might not know any better.

Agreeably, there are two types of people in this world: Those who prefer to be part of the PROBLEM and those who'd rather be part of the SOLUTION. And for some quirky reason, the scales usually tip in favor of the former every time you begin to notice it, don't they??
A friend of mine once said, "Some people are born smart... others are simply born." I couldn't agree with him more. LOL.
Peace be with you!

I'm afraid that the oposite is also true:
'if people can only give stupid answers, why bother to ask a serious question'
it's sad, isn't it?

Because some of the questions in this category are so inflammatory that a smart a** answer is just necessary.

Ever read "Mads" "Snappy answers to stupid questions"? maybe it has something to do with that? Also some want the points without any effort.
