Stop bickering, all of you! The point is that God only exists if you believe in him. That's the whole point of the word "faith" isn't it? You have no proof, but its there for YOU, not everyone else. So, for a hardcore Christian, then that arguement is proof enough. In fact, they don't NEED that because they just believe. Now, us ordinary folks who don't thump bibles on the other hand can get on by without God, nor do we need to disprove his existence. We just wish that fundamentalist Christians would STOP trying to SHOVE the bible and GOD down our throats. They're ARE such things as OTHER religions AND beliefs you know?

No that wouldn't work for me.
The bible has many passages of things that the people of that time didn't know about. Such as the hygeine laws of cleanness that protected them from germs. Those people knew nothing about that kind of thing. The passage that says God sits above the circle of the earth. The people of that day believed the earth was flat. The earth and planets are so perfectly placed in the solar system. Just the right size, just the right distance, a cell is so complex. Yet, here we are with billions of such cells all doing a different work. That never just happened

Since the bible is no more than a convenient collection of various early religious works....that would be no.
You are thinking of how muslims look at the Quran not how christians look at the bible. Christians simply say, look around, proof that God exists is everywhere for anyone who bothers to really look.

God exist because this world exist, if there wasn't God, then this world would not be here; neither would be you.
tell me who made the world? tell me who made this univerese? the creation of world started with the "big bang" so does the human made theory says. but God created this world so does the Quran says and Quran was not writen by any human, it was written by God Himself.
and the proof of God's existance is all around you, your friends, the day and night, sun and the moon.
Since no one in thsi world make these things, even the advance technology, so GOD does exist. an dthat divine power made all of these astonishments.
