Just curious. I don't. I ALWAYS go dutch. I pay for my ****, and he pays for his. That's the way it should be. I don't care who asked who. These days, if you pay for the movie, the soda, and the popcorn, but he pays to put butter on the popcorn, he'll say you're a goldigger! lol! Or worse, he thinks you "owe" him something. Therefore, I NEVER allow a man to pay, not even on special occasions; NEVER. My boyfriend hates this, but he'll get over it.

I am traditional in that I think a guy should pay, or at least want to pay. They can expect something all they want but they won't get it. I am not a hooker or a golddigger, I'm a lady and I like to be treated like one. After the relationship becomes more serious I would insist on paying sometimes but it would be an exception not a rule. It isnt' about money, I make my own money, it is about respect. If a guy doesn't know how to treat a lady then I find out pretty quickly. By the way I am married now and we share our money and I actually make more.

yeah definitely. they need a lil something too and paying makes them feel superior. i pay sometimes...after a while, it doesn't matter who pays. it doesn't affect anything anymore.
